Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is inviting application for the above mentioned position for an anticipated project `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs` will be implemented in 2 Upazillas under Cox`s Bazar Districts of Chittagong Division with support from Save the Children International. This is expected to be a six months project starting at August 2020. PHD intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Nurse/Midwife effectively contribute to Upazila COVID response plan of the government.
চাকরির দায়িত্বসমূহ
- Support Upazila Health and Family Planning department in line with Upazila COVID response plan in terms of:
- Work in Upazilla health complex.
- Support doctors for the treatment of patient in outdoor and indoor.
- Triage, screening and assessment of patients
- Deliver nursing care to patients based on established clinical practice standards
- Provide ensure delivery of patient care through implementation of prescribed medication and monitoring effects
- Perform nursing procedures under supervision of physician Provides antenatal and postnatal care in line with relevant standards and protocols
- Delivery of hygiene promotion, health education and patient/care giver counselling
- Counselling and provision of Family Planning, Clinical Care for Sexual Assault , Provision of basic first aid for intimate partner violence, Ensure quality of ANC and PNC services, Ensure safe delivery, Ensure neonatal care
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures
- Check daily inventory of medicines & other equipment
- Give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants/respective department for the same
- Ensure accurate recording of information in the clinic registers, and timely completion of reports with familiarity of KOBO reporting
- Any other tasks deemed necessary to achieve the HBC objectives according to the request of the Medical officer.

- Diploma/BSC in nursing from an accredited academic institution recognized & registered by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC)

- Adequately aware of government's health system at Upazila and below and aware of the scale and devastation of COVID-19 across the country
- Experience of working closely with government functionaries, local government institutions, private and non-government organizations will get preference
- Familiarity with cervical cancer counselling, screening and fistula
- Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary
